The first Spotlight Initiative Global Learning Symposium was held from 16 - 18 September 2022 in Cancun, Mexico bringing together over 200 stakeholders from governments, civil society, the UN system, and others. This Resource Package presents the summaries, presentations, and concept notes from the 45 plenary and topic-specific sessions organized at the symposium. These participatory and peer learning sessions provided a space for honest reflection and sharing of results, lessons and practices across contexts that can be taken to scale to eliminate violence against women and girls. The summaries for each session provide key highlights, recommendations, and relevant resources on the Spotlight Initiative, and EVAWG field more broadly.
